The story unfolds on Earth Alpha, a version of our world where beings with extraordinary powers have long been part of everyday reality. But now, that reality is shattered by an unprecedented crisis:
The Vanishing.

On August 5th, 2023, the world changed forever when 95% of its superheroes disappeared without a trace. It happened in an instant—heroes vanished mid-action, leaving the world defenseless.

Many of those who vanished reported a chilling vision before their disappearance: a dark herald known as Kohloth, the Void Emperor, commanding them into darkness.

In the aftermath, chaos reigned. Cities like Nova City plunged into fear and lawlessness. Law enforcement was overwhelmed. Crime skyrocketed. Trust in society’s protectors was broken.

You are the survivors.
Untested. Unknown. Heroes who somehow escaped the Vanishing—marked by fate, but not yet proven.

You were never part of the revered inner circle of global champions. The world doesn’t trust you. Neither do your peers.
Alliances are fragile.
Faith must be earned.
And yet, in this darkest hour, you are the spark of hope.

Your journey begins immediately after the Vanishing with “Fallout” encounters—mini-adventures that forge your team amid the chaos.

A desperate government agency, FALCON (Federal Agency for Law enforcement, Containment of Offenders, and Neutrality), launches Operation Survivor, recruiting anyone with abilities willing to rise.

You may bear mysterious Sybaris markings—strange symbols linked to the Vanishing’s energies, slowly awakening new powers and deeper truths.

🏙️ Nova City: The Stage of Crisis
Nova City stands as a towering metropolis, built on the ruins of Atlantic City after the Great Axis War. Its visionary architect, Alden Carson, designed it to endure disaster, anchoring the city on nine massive energy wheels called the Carson Core.

These wheels, powered by Divine Geometry taught by Sybaris Mages, became both protector and scientific wonder.

Over time, Nova City evolved through heroic eras—

The Dawn of Heroes

The Modern Age

…and ultimately, the Age of Complacency, when fame and fortune dulled the heroic edge.

A prophecy from the seer Oracle—warning heroes to remain silent guardians—was ignored. And now, her visions have come true.

☠️ The Cosmic Threat
The Vanishing is the work of the Void Emperor (Xorantus), ruler of the nightmare realm Endless Dark.

His scheme:

Seize the twin power wheels buried beneath a multiverse reflection of Nova City.

Power the Corruption Engine—a device that triggered the Vanishing and left behind potent Void Dust (aka Gold Dust).

The Emperor’s ultimate goal? To fuse Earth with the Endless Dark, forging a second Corruption Engine from Nova City's wheels, ripping the multiverse apart.

The Sybaris Mages, survivors of the Void Emperor’s conquest of their own world, now guide the new generation of heroes from the shadows.

Others exploit the chaos—Jasper Wu (real estate) and Maxwell Irons (FutureTech), whose robotic law enforcers prove flawed.

Law & Order:
Police Chief Marissa Davis battles surging crime.

FALCON, under Director Quentin Pierce, races to recruit new heroes while fending off political interference.

New Shadows:
RAGNAROK, an anti-government conspiracy that helped engineer the Vanishing, is now hunting whistleblowers like hacker Erin “Ech0” Collins.

Victor Kane, a manipulative power broker, hoards Void Dust and tempts desperate survivors into his orbit.
